Q. Your site has next to zero color in it. Did you purpose for it to be that way or do you just have no artistic sense?

 

A. I did do it on purpose and for two reasons. One, just another site has a theme of extreme blandness, so in making it I strove to keep it as basic and ‘boring’ in format as possible. Two, so often you go to personal sites and your eyes nearly rot out of your head because the colors are so offensive. I didn’t want to fall into that mistake so I went for the opposite. As the saying goes, “Better safe than sorry.”

Q. Do you really look like the guy in the ‘pictures’ page?

 

A. More or less. Although I have manipulated the coloring on some of them in an attempt to soften my complexion, the facial structure and physique remain largely untouched.

Q. Are you at all worried that in order for a visitor to experience just another site’s fullest potential, he or she will have to read more print than an average college textbook?

 

A. just another site was designed to be taken in small, controlled doses. If a visitor reads too much in too short a period of time, he or she will become susceptible to interest burnout. As a result, I have written a book called “The just another site Companion: Your Guide to Happy, Healthy Visiting.” This book provides a schedule for you to consult on when to read what, and suggests the most effective ways to enjoy your visit.
